TV Bashir has brain tumour

Celebrity interviewer Martin Bashir is suffering from a brain tumour.
The former Panorama presenter, known for his TV chats with Princess Diana and Michael Jackson, said last night that he hoped to beat his illness and "get on with his life".
The lump was found after Bashir, 45, banged his head on the set of his Nightline show for ABC News in the US.
He went to hospital in New York, where he now lives with wife Debbie and two children, for stitches and a routine scan.
Doctors soon spotted the tumour on his pituitary gland at the base of the brain but they think they have caught it in time.
Last night, a spokesman for Bashir said: "Martin is seeing it as a stroke of luck that he had a knock because doctors have discovered the tumour. It's at a very early stage, where it can be monitored."
