Michael Firestone will perform his King of Pop: A Tribute to Michael Jackson show at 9 p.m. Halloween night, Oct. 31, in the Mari Showroom of Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville.
Tickets are $20.
Firestone was born in Rome, N.Y., and he was greatly influenced by Jackson music. Firestone learned to imitate every move and vocal vibration of the icon.
He performed Jackson's songs in shows throughout his adolescence. As an adult, he moved to Las Vegas and began a career impersonating the King of Pop.
Firestone has performed as a Michael Jackson tribute artist in live shows such as “MTV Magic” and “Around the World” in Asia. He also performed for “Legends in Concert” in Myrtle Beach, and “LaCage” and “Masquerade” in Atlantic City.
Firestone also did guest appearances on “Larry the Cable Guy's Christmas Spectacular” and the Asian variety show “The Bon Show.” He also performed several memorial shows at Carnival Court in Las Vegas in order to pay tribute to the King of Pop in his tragic passing.
“Michael Firestone's goal is to accurately portray Michael Jackson from his 'he-he’ right down to his moonwalk,” a news release said.
Firestone will perform Jackson’s biggest hits and signature moves throughout the show.
